Metro Chicago Exports is an unprecedented regional collaboration between the seven counties in Northeastern Illinois (Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will) and the City of Chicago to increase exports from small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) and to support regional job growth.
Our 2016 Grant Program invited small and medium-sized companies located in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties to apply through May 27, 2016. The single-round 2016 Grant Program will award up to $5,000 to small and medium-sized companies in the seven-county region to reimburse 50% of eligible expenses associated with implementing an export plan.
Metro Chicago Exports thanks all 2016 Grant Program applicants for their time and participation, and looks forward to notifying grant recipients on or around July 11, 2016.
Following in October 2016, Metro Chicago Exports will host a pitch fest during which companies will be eligible to submit a pitch for additional export funding. Information about the pitch fest will be shared at a later date.
While applications for our 2016 Grant Program have closed, both existing exporters and new-to-export companies are invited to complete the Metro Chicago Exports Client Assessment form so we can determine how best to support your organization with maximizing its exporting potential.
